Mixture of Dreams Part Six

It means no worries, for the rest of your days. The big-hearted Giant, has just woken up, from an enchanted phase. An unusual prince, he appeared to be. Beautiful colors of the wind, he could see. With cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels…magic carpets flying, and Cruella De Vil with a poodle. The Giant was truly at awe, with his new colorful palace. A unique land of wonder, he met a friend named Alice. They traveled through a rabbit hole, to reach the Pride Lands. What fun they both had, visiting the stunning motherland.

As the Giant woke up, with a big smile on his face. He was surrounded by mandrills, all in his place. Five little monkeys, jumping on the bed. “Hmmmm…..” The Giant thought, “did I hit my head?”

He looked around, and saw a little rabbit hole. He woke up AGAIN, wait, not this loophole. The moon was still high, illuminating with light. It was still the wonderfully mysterious night. He closed his eyes, dozing into wonder. This Giant, hopes that all of you wonderful writers, have a great slumber.

Fear

Bound by chains so strong, it modifies through the timescale. It wraps itself around like a warm blanket. Trying to comfort, trying to ensnare. It’s the spy in the room. Never caring about what’s in the way. It’s only game, is to sway.

Don’t want to feel pain? It’ll bury it deep. Don’t want to express yourself? It’ll help hide your speech. It has known you longer than anyone else. It helps protect your health.

The relationship is built on trust. It gives advice. It acts like a therapist. Credentials? Who cares? As long as it sounds good, there’s no need to question it’s authority. It has this sense of superiority. It knows it’s a disease, yet it doesn’t care. It wants to continue blinding, hoping you won’t share.

Mixture of Dreams Part Five

Once upon a time, Nun opened the oceans. Water at last, even Poseidon helped put things in motion.

A whole new world, now in the present. Tales of the Crypt, JUST KIDDING, not in this segment. The Giant played with Ariel and Water Nixie, who came from under the sea. It’s the circle of life, and they were all free. Ariel had gadgets, and Nixie had gizmos. The Giant had a sack of beans, ready to grow. A giant, mermaid, and nix, enjoying the bare necessities. This was life, and old Mother Nature’s recipes. They splashed and laughed, with whirls of water. They even decided, to decorate the Ocean Gods altar. They bid farewells, it was the senescent of night. Part of their world, it was so bright.

The Giant was exhausted, jumping in his bed. Dreams soon came about, filling his head. He dreamed of water bending, on the canoe. All he needed was Avatar Aang, apart of this crew. Sweet dreams, goodnight, and ciao, my friends. This Giant, is about to transcend.

Random of the Day: Changing

Meditating has really changed my life. Before meditating, my temper was a little unbecoming, I let little things bother me, was easily distracted, very distrustful, you name it. My story is like everyone else’s. You go through things in life, it changes you for the good or the bad. When I realized I was stuck in a stump, I decided to change. Not only my surroundings, but my way of thinking, my diet, became an Herbalist, started meditating, and embraced everything nature…well except insects, or anything with a lot of legs. I almost died the other day when a spider was on me. Still haven’t changed my way of thinking with that, yet… Picking up meditating, it’s mellowed me out dramatically. When things start to bother me, I take a breathe and feel full of life. It’s like this newfound happiness. I love it!!

I read a blog a few weeks ago, which argued that we actually have three brains: heart, gut and brain. I implemented this into my meditation, and wow, It’s been a wonderful experience. It’s as if my psyche has been injected with a dose of utopia. Gave me a new outlook on meditation.

This is my random thoughts of the day…change has been a blessing. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I’m very thankful and happy, and just wanted to share some peace, love and happiness. ❤️

Mulan (2020)

After procrastinating just a tad bit, I’ve finally got around to watching the new trailer for Mulan. And can I just say, this movie looks like it’s going to be AWESOME! Growing up, I was a big fan of the Disney movie. Who can forget Mushu, the little talking dragon. Eddie Murphy (voice of Mushu) is a comedic genius. He brought Mushu to life, having some of the funniest one-liners.

To my surprise, I read that Mushu is not going to be in this live-action movie. Was I sad at first, yes. Though, after reading a little bit more about the premise, I see that this movie is based more on the original tale of Hua Mulan. If you’re like me, you grew up on the Disney version, and that’s the only version you know. Am I embarrassed, definitely! Though I’m very thankful for the learning opportunity. After reading the premise, and learning about Hua Mulan, I’m even MORE excited that Disney has decided to go this route.

The story has a feeling of empowerment, courage, strength, and spirit, and the trailer definitely delivers on all these elements! The fight scenes look amazing, the cinematography is stunning, and the acting looks superb, this is certainly a recipe for a tremendously good movie!! Can’t wait to watch. Mulan comes out next year, and I’ll definitely be catching it.
